Hello.

My name is Milton. I am a Producer/Cinematographer for Hard Rain Pictures & Entertainment LLC.

I am in the process of producing a min-documentary series in Cambodia, leading to a major production called “The Kings of Angkor – The Khmer Empire.”

I have been doing extensive research into the History, People, Culture etc.

I cannot remember from what resources that lead me to this site but am very excited from reading the blogs and other tips about moving to Cambodia, “The Kingdom of Wonder”, and have considered of moving, living & working in Cambodia with my passion for filming.

Keep up the good work and I will definitely buy the book.

Hi – I’m most interested in living costs in banking in Cambodia. Can U.S. ATM cards (visa) be used ?

In reply to James. The only ones I know who have gotten it have done so through large cash payments to the government. The last I heard the going rate was 50k, but I suspect it's higher now.

I’m planning on permanently moving to Cambodia next August. I’ll teach English to start out and maybe even try getting into the hotel industry but eventually I want to break into freelancing. After spending four months in PP last year and leaving I’ve come to realize that Cambodia will always be a part of me no matter where I am. If I end up settling down in Cambodia I’ll want to see about getting citizenship. Do you know anything about that? Have you ever met any expats who’ve acquired Cambodian citizenship?
