Hello. I have been considering returning in later 2022. Up until the end of 2021 I heard on expat.com that one could extend the tourist visa to a retirement EOS once in country. Has this policy been extended into 2022? I would not be leaving until later this year and perhaps by then VOA will be available so I can then transition to the retirement EOS. Thanks for any info on this you have heard. I do not do Facebook any longer so cannot access the group for news.

I was thinking of going to Pattaya in Thailand to play golf, but just found out the bars won’t be open. Looks like I’ll be going to Cambodia instead now it’s easy to get in.

In reply to Liro. My understanding is that this applies to all travelers, but I haven't heard anything specifically about ASEAN travelers.
